The Premier Institute for Advanced Studies of Ehime University (EU PIAS) aims to promote world-class advanced research in specialized fields, lead the university’s research endeavors, and create interdisciplinary fusion fields. Centered around three advanced research centers recognized as Joint Usage/Research Centers by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, it comprises five research centers and an advanced research support office. The institute aims to enhance the excellence and diversity of advanced research, improve research quality, and expand into new research areas covering a broader range of fields.

Going forward, the institute will regularly hold seminars to promote research exchange between centers. Additionally, we aim to disseminate the latest research findings through public symposiums and lectures and utilize social media to share information from the front lines of advanced research.
